Welcome to the Elementary Computer Lab at McClave Elementary.

We work very hard to supplement the learning that goes on in the traditional classroom with our program made by  Pearson Digital Learning also known as the SuccessMaker Lab.

I am excited to see all the returning students and the ones who are new to McClave this year.  I am looking forward to a great year of learning! 

The school has added 12 new computers to the elementary lab.  There are also now 13 computers in the teacher's lounge and this will function as our everyday SucessMaker Lab.  The big lab has 25 computers, half running Windows Vista and half running Windows XP.  All of the computers have Microsoft Office 2007 which will help the students learn a new opperating system and write reports.

The students spend their days doing:

• Reading and Math with Preschool through 1st grade. 
• Reading, Spelling, and Math in grades 2 & 3.
• Reading, Spelling, Math, Science, and Typing Skills in 4th and 5th grade. 
• 6th grade will be doing Reading, Spelling, Math, Science, Typing, and an intro to Microsoft Word.
